Visitor Visa
A Visitor Visa (Subclass 600) will allow you to visit Australia as a tourist for duration of three to twelve months. This visa, however, does not enable you to work or visit Australia for medical treatment.
If you are visiting Australia for business, you can acquire a Visitor Visa and remain for up to three months. As a business visitor, you can participate in activities such as attending trade shows and seminars, but you cannot work for a company or give services to one. If you want to work in Australia, you should have a Working Visa.
